iTippers Terms of Use

These terms describe the use of iTippers, the tip and bill-splitting calculator provided by Alnilam Technologies LLC ("Alnilam," "we," "us"). They apply to iTippers only, not WorldPulse or other Alnilam Technologies' products. Please read them alongside the app's Privacy Policy and the terms accompanying your App Store download.

App license and purchase

Your App Store download is governed by its applicable license and Apple's purchase and usage rules. Where no custom license is provided with the download, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies. These app-specific terms supplement, rather than replace, that license; the applicable license controls any conflict about licensing rights.

iTippers is offered for a one-time App Store purchase. The current app has no subscription, in-app purchases, advertising, or account requirement. The price and any applicable taxes are shown by Apple before purchase. Billing and refund requests are handled through Apple's process, subject to applicable consumer rights; these terms do not impose a separate no-refund rule.

Use and accuracy of calculations

iTippers helps calculate tips, totals, and shares of a bill from the values and options you select. It does not collect payments, transfer money, or settle a bill on your behalf.

Check the amount entered, selected tip percentage, number of people, and any rounding option before relying on a result. Rounding may change individual shares or the total, and an establishment's taxes, fees, gratuity policy, or billing practices may differ from the assumptions you enter. Verify the final amount against the actual bill. Results are calculation aids, not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.

You are responsible for your inputs and payment decisions. This responsibility does not remove any rights you have if the app fails to meet legal requirements.

Permitted use and ownership

Use the app lawfully and in accordance with the license accompanying your download. Alnilam Technologies and its licensors retain rights in the app's software, name, and design; you retain your rights in the information you enter and the results you generate. Do not redistribute or commercially exploit the app itself without permission, except where your license or applicable law allows it. These terms do not restrict lawful accessibility, interoperability, or other non-waivable rights.

Availability and updates

We may release corrections or improvements. A one-time purchase does not promise unlimited new features or compatibility with every future device or operating-system version. Any changes remain subject to the applicable App Store terms and statutory obligations, including any required updates or remedies.

Warranties and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is supplied as available, without a promise that every result will be error-free or suitable for every purpose. Check important calculations independently.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Alnilam Technologies LLC and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app, including losses resulting from inaccurate inputs or reliance on unverified results. Any applicable license limitations also remain subject to law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Statutory warranties, consumer guarantees, refund rights, and other non-waivable remedies remain available. If a limitation is not permitted where you live, it applies only to the extent allowed there.

Privacy, changes, and contact

The iTippers Privacy Policy explains on-device calculations, Apple services, and optional support correspondence.

We may publish revised terms with a new version and effective date. Material changes will receive notice and any acceptance required by applicable law; posting a revision does not retroactively remove accrued rights. WorldPulse's separate terms, community rules, and arbitration provisions are not incorporated into these terms.
